- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup toffee bits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle toffee bits evenly on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before cutting.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For extra crunch, add chopped nuts with the toffee bits.
- Check doneness at 25 minutes to avoid overbaking.
