Description

A quick and flavorful beef stir-fry with crisp vegetables and a savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef with soy sauce and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over high heat.
  3. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, stir-fry bell pepper and onion for 2 minutes.
  5. Add garlic and ginger, cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in beef broth and oyster sauce, stir well.
  7. Return beef to the pan and toss to coat.
  8. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.

Notes

  • Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
  • Adjust soy sauce to taste.
  • Serve over rice or noodles.
