Description

A classic American yellow cake with a warm cinnamon sugar swirl. Moist, rich, and incredibly easy to make, this nostalgic recipe is perfect for both summer and winter occasions.

  • 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar

  • 1 box vanilla pudding instant mix (5.1 oz)

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 4 large eggs

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt or 9×13-inch pan.

  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon.

  3. In a large bowl, beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil until smooth.

  4. Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle half the sugar mix. Add remaining batter, then top with remaining sugar mix.

  5. Swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.

  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  7. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Let cool completely before slicing.
