– 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
– 8 slices ham (thinly sliced)

– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
– 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
– Flour for dusting


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
2. Layer one puff pastry sheet with ham slices, followed by cheese, and Dijon mustard if desired.
3. Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top, press gently to seal, and crimp the edges with a fork.
