While there are several rumors about chocolate, it being fattening, unhealthy and so on, its benefits are not to be ignored. As it seems, the raw material of chocolate, that being cocoa, is notorious for being rich in antioxidants, which help protect the arteries from being clogged.
As such, in order to enjoy all the benefits of cocoa, it is best advised toward dark chocolate since it is not diluted with milk or drowned in sugar.
