Description

A simple and creamy pasta dish with rich sun-dried tomatoes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook orzo according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Add cooked orzo and Parmesan. Mix well.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • You can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
