- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed. Fold in the blueberries.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Use frozen blueberries if fresh ones are not available.
- Do not overmix the batter to ensure tender muffins.
- Store muffins in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
